Leadership has a well-founded understanding of the priorities for the school and have put in place clear plans to drive further improvement. Pupils feel safe, grow in confidence, and develop good learning behaviors. This is because everyone in the school nurtures and meets student’s social and emotional needs. Equally staff and executive are aspirational for student’s learning, setting high expectations for achievement. The early years’ provision is much improved and children’s are provided with a wide range of opportunities to develop their reading, writing and learning skills. Their progress has accelerated over the last three years and since 201 6 the proportion of children achieving a good level of development.
We have maintained excellent academic achievement over these past three years, achieving well above the national average in all subjects. Progress across the school for all children is good and we are also very proud of how well our GIS children progress. Our academic excellence is due to good teaching and broad and balanced curriculum. Recently and in early years students have won national and state level certificates in international Olympiad contest in various subjects. Some bring laurels for the school by achieving top position in state and overall rank.
